Art Connection - Tuesday 11th March 2025 - Week 124

Hello Everyone

Hope you will join me online this Tuesday where we'll work on using watercolour to paint a quirky image of a French Bulldog with a glass of wine on his head. Image from Unsplash.

We usually meet every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15pm to draw/paint together. No experience needed. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone as this will allow you to zoom in on the detail also ?

What you'll need

A sheet of printed newspaper (mostly text) OR watercolour paper

Sticky tape (decorators masking tape is best) to hold the paper down to your desk/table

Any size of paper (A3 will be best if you have it or A4)

A selection of watecolour paints, including black and white

Kitchen paper to wipe your hands on

A pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
