We thank Norah Summers for her Daily Worship week and we welcome John Povey who continues our new theme for February Thanks A Million! beginning Sunday 9 February.
Thank you God! Thanks a million! We are only able to love because God first loved us — loved us into our very being! Thank you God for making us in your image and imbuing us with all the divine love you have invested in us! May your love inspire us on and on to love.
Retired in 2021 after 40 years as parish minister in Kirk of Calder, Mid Calder John is now engaged in occasional pulpit supply, and some writing and research. Hobbies include baking and cooking, travel, the theatre, reading, and spending time with the grandchildren.
